Steel scabbards can be polished and plated as well as undergoing internal rust preventative
treatment to inhibit corrosion, depending on their location and severity, dents can also be removed from steel scabbards.
Leather scabbards with perished leather can be recovered by hand whilst retaining the
original wooden core that is often fitted to match your sword.
Rawhide scabbard bodies found on Naval, RAF and many older army swords can be re-finished
or replaced with identical hand made bodies.
