  Royal Navy Officers Sword
The 1827 pattern Royal Navy sword and finally revised in 1929 with a lighter straight Blade. Carried by today by RN commissioned officers and has also been adopted by other countries including Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

The sword features a single-edged straight carbon steel blade. The hilt is stamped in brass with a fouled anchor and crown, the brass pommel is in the form of an  eagle and both are 22ct gold plated. The white fish skin grip is bound in gold plated wire.

    The scabbard is made of rawhide with 22ct gold plated            mounts. Officers of Flag Rank and above carry a                     more ornate version featuring finely engraved                              mounts.
